Got White Spots on Your Front Teeth?

Resin infiltration (ICON®) is a minimally invasive way to reduce the appearance of white spot lesions—without drilling or removing healthy tooth structure. It’s especially effective for post-braces white spots or early enamel demineralization.

How It Works

ICON® works by gently penetrating porous enamel with a clear, fluid resin that blends the white spot with the surrounding tooth structure. The resin fills in microscopic spaces within the enamel, improving translucency and strengthening the area at the same time.

If you have visible white spots, early decay, or mild enamel defects, resin infiltration offers a conservative alternative to fillings or veneers. The procedure preserves natural tooth structure and typically requires no anesthesia.

The tooth is carefully isolated, the surface is prepared, and the liquid resin is applied and allowed to penetrate the enamel. Once hardened and polished, the treated area appears more uniform and natural—often in a single visit.
