Implant

A dental implant is a permanent solution for replacing one or more missing teeth with a restoration that looks, feels, and functions like a natural tooth. Unlike bridges or dentures, implants are anchored directly into the jawbone with a titanium post that acts as an artificial tooth root. This stable foundation supports a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture and helps preserve bone health by stimulating the jaw, preventing the bone loss that typically follows tooth loss.

How It Works

First Phase (Placement):
During the initial visit, the implant post is surgically placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia. A healing period of several months follows, allowing the implant to fuse with the bone in a process called osseointegration.

Second Phase (Restoration):
Once healing is complete, an abutment is attached to the implant, and a custom crown (or bridge/denture) is fabricated to match your smile. At the final visit, the restoration is securely connected, completing your implant and restoring full function and appearance.
